A month out
Saved to your phone before you lose signal.
Once a trip is thirty days away, the phone keeps a copy. Open it once with signal and every day, stop and overnight, and the budget, are there in a lay-by with no bars.

The evening before
Tomorrow, in one line.
Turn on trip reminders and, at half seven or a time you choose, a notification sets out tomorrow: the day, the miles, where you're sleeping and when the sun goes down. If there's a flood or fire warning for the area, it's on the end.

Once you've set off, it opens on today.
The first thing on the screen is today: the drive, tonight's overnight and what it costs. Directions hands the day to Google Maps from where the van is, not where the day was meant to start.
Up to nine of the day's stops go with it, in the order you'll drive them
On a day in the next week with weather worth knowing, one line of it: 'Gusts to 45 mph · high 12°. Worth pitching before evening.' A quiet day says nothing
Staying somewhere else? 'Use where the van is now' reads your location once. Nothing is tracked

Same account, same trips, and a change made on one is there on the other. Planning a trip, changing it on the road, sharing it as a link and going back to an earlier version work the same on both. The web adds a PDF. The phone adds what's above.
